We respect your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle your data when you use FavicoLab's Favicon Maker.

Information we process

• Uploads: Images you upload are processed in memory (or a temporary folder) to generate your icons. Generated files are packaged into a ZIP for you to download.
• Temporary storage: Output files live in a per-job folder (random ID) only long enough to build the ZIP. We attempt to clean up right after ZIP creation; otherwise routine server cleanup removes leftovers.
• Logs: We log basic technical information (e.g., errors, diagnostics) to keep the service reliable. Logs do not contain your images.
• Cookies: A minimal session cookie may store language or UI preferences. No marketing cookies.

Third-party services

If you see embedded resources (fonts, icons, analytics you later add, or advertising), their data practices are governed by their own policies.

Uploaded Images & Automatic Deletion

When you upload images to FavicoLab, those images are used solely for the purpose of generating favicon and icon sets, which are provided to you as a downloadable ZIP file.

Uploaded images are processed automatically by our system and are not reviewed, shared, or used for any other purpose. FavicoLab does not permanently store uploaded images.

All uploaded images and generated icon files are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers immediately after the icon generation process is completed, or within a very short system-controlled timeframe required to deliver the ZIP file to the user. No backups of uploaded images are retained after deletion.

GDPR Compliance & Data Retention

FavicoLab follows strict data minimization and storage limitation principles in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Uploaded images are treated as temporary processing data and are retained only for the duration necessary to generate and deliver the requested icon files. Once processing is complete, all associated image data is automatically deleted without requiring any action from the user.

Because uploaded images are deleted automatically as part of our service workflow, users are not required to submit a separate data erasure request for this data.

Data retention

Uploads and generated assets are intended to be short-lived. ZIPs and temp folders are removed after generation where possible. Server logs are rotated periodically.

Your choices

• Don’t upload sensitive or confidential images.
• Clear your browser cache if you want to remove previews or downloaded ZIPs from your device.
